
Welcome to Tauranga Weightlifting!
We are western Tauranga’s local weightlifting club.
The club is coached by Jaydon Buckley who has been a competitive athlete in Olympic Weightlifting since early 2017, and training people in it since 2018.
In joining Tauranga Weightlifting, you’ll be programmed and coached under the eyes of Jaydon. When you are apart of the club training sessions you'll receive instruction and individual feedback to progress your weightlifting.

10 am till 12 pm
Club Rule/Values
Always remember that we do this sport because we enjoy it.
This is a learning environment, if you have questions, ask.
Personal records attempt will be watched as a group.
Communication is key, from coach to athlete, from athlete to coach, and from athlete to athlete.
Blood, sweet and tears are ok but please clean up after yourself.
There is no dress code*, but appropriate clothing is expected.
Be considerate of others in and outside of the club.
Watch your language, it might not be offensive to you but it could be offensive to someone else.
Perseverance and determination are the two qualities that will lead to success in the sport of weightlifting.
*Weightlifting shoes aren’t required but will greatly help your progress in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting.
